Gregory R. Vlacich, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor of radiation oncology and Clinical Director of the Radiation Oncology Service at Alton Memorial Hospital, Alton, Illinois. He earned a PhD in Molecular Genetics and Cell Biology in 2007 and his medical degree in 2009, both from The University of Chicago. Dr. Vlacich completed his residency in radiation oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in 2014. He joined the Washington University faculty in 2016 from a private practice with a focus on treatment of head and neck, CNS, and GI and GU tract malignancies. His clinical practice and academic interests include lung cancer, esophageal cancer, prostate cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, head and neck cancer, and stereotactic body radiation therapy.
