Biography

Amanda Jackson, MS joined the Department of Radiation Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine in 2024. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering and a master’s degree in Medical Physics from Georgia Tech in 2005 and 2006 respectively. She is currently a Medical Physics PhD candidate at the University of Florida with anticipated graduation in 2025. Amanda has served as a clinical medical physicist in staff and independent consultant roles across the country and US territories. Some of her professional interests include mixed reality applications in radiation oncology, educational tools and resources for radiation oncology professionals and patients, and global health.
