Anthony Apicelli, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor of radiation oncology. He earned a medical degree and PhD from Washington University in 2009. Dr. Apicelli completed his residency in radiation oncology at Washington University School of Medicine in June 2014 and joined the faculty in August 2014. His clinical practice focus is Gamma Knife and head and neck oncology. He is Chief of Radiation Oncology at John Cochran Veterans Affairs Medical Center in St. Louis and takes an active role in resident education, serving as VA site director for radiation oncology residents.
