Biography

Ibrahim Hatipoglu is an Instructor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He earned his PhD in Biology from Anadolu University in Turkey and completed his postdoctoral research at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in the USA. He furthered his academic career as a faculty member at Yeditepe University in Turkey. Prior to his current position, he was a visiting researcher in the Department of Pathology and Immunology at Washington University School of Medicine. His research focuses on understanding how radiation therapy affects adaptive and innate immune cell functions within the tumor microenvironment.
