Biography

Jose Garcia Ramirez, MS, is an assistant professor of radiation oncology. He joined the faculty in 2006. He earned an MS in Medical Radiation Physics from Finch University of Health Sciences/Rosalind Franklin University in Chicago in 1997 and completed a residency in medical physics, CAMPEP accredited, at Washington University School of Medicine in 2001. His responsibilities include Brachytherapy Physics Service, Implementation of Novel Radiopharmaceutical therapies, and XOFT Treatments. He is certified in Therapeutic Radiological Physics by the American Board of Radiology.
