Biography
Dr. Michael Waters is an assistant professor at Washington University in St Louis with a focus on Thoracic and Gastrointestinal (GI) oncology. His research is distinguished by a robust engagement with the application of advanced computational techniques, including deep learning and generative AI modeling, to oncology and genomics. His contributions to the field have been recognized through several oral presentations at prestigious conferences such as ASTRO, ASCO, and AACR. Moreover, Dr. Waters has contributed to the academic literature with numerous publications fostering a deeper understanding of how AI and machine learning can be harnessed in the fight against cancer.
