Biography
Dr. Panthi is a clinical physicist in radiation oncology. He obtained his MS in Medical Physics and PhD in Physics from Oklahoma State University, both under the supervision of Dr. Eric Benton. Then he joined the group of Dr. Sam Beddar at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center as a postdoctoral fellow, where he performed research on prompt-gamma imaging and proton-radiography. Dr. Panthi completed his residency in therapeutic Medical Physics from Rush University Medical Center. Dr. Panthi’s expertise are in the areas of stereotactic radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiosurgery, image guidance, motion management, and high-dose-rate brachytherapy.
