Dr. Hallahan named National Academy of Inventors senior member

Dr. Hallahan is being recognized for his success in producing technologies that impact society and for demonstrating substantial training and mentoring of the next generation of inventors. This is the first time that any member of the faculty within our department has been recognized by any of the four national academies:  science, medicine, engineering and inventors. Dr. Hallahan is also the first radiation oncologist in the world to be elected into the National Academy of Inventors!
